Our hand-painted Mithila Kerala Cotton Sarees are carefully and uniquely hand-painted by our women artists from Janakpur and Madhubani with vibrant and articulated Mithila artwork. Mithila art is an ancient form of art originated from Janakpur and
travelled through Northern Part of India as Madhubani Art. Mithila art’s narratives
have evolved through generations depicting rural life of village life in southern parts
of Nepal known as “Terai Region”, human mythologies, Women rights and
empowerment, Human-environment-animal relationships, and various other
narratives. Our mithila paintings also has diverse depictions and narratives of mithila
artwork, and is beautifully curated and articulated, and painted by our mithila artists
from Janakpur, Rajbiraj, Kathmandu, and Madhubani. Available in different sizes and
designs, the price of each painting depends on the artwork. It takes from one week to
one month to finish one painting.
