FCA & Women’s Bank Funded Project
FWEAN has been conducting various programs for supporting the social and economic empowerment of women of remote and comparatively less accessible areas of southern Lalitpur since 2009 through different projects. Women’s Bank Finland and FCA Nepal has been supporting us throughout this journey; Women’s Bank is a Finnish volunteer network that raises funds to develop education, livelihood, and entrepreneurship of women in developing countries and FCA is Finland’s largest international aid organization which contributes to positive change by supporting people through development cooperation, humanitarian assistance and advocacy work.
With the continuous support in their entrepreneurial journey from initiation of their business to marketing of the products they produce, women from the project areas i.e. Lalitpur and Sindhuli district have been producing these products from the Handicrafts, Food and Agro categories.
