Nephand Felt is a private company established in 2008. This company is concerned with designing, producing, and exporting felt goods. The company’s main goal is to give opportunities to women who stay at home, so that they can utilize their leisure time to earn some money and make their lives better. Another objective of Nephand felt is to develop a society of skilled women. Till date, hundreds of women have learned felt work from this company.

Nephand felt is a member of Federation of Handicraft Association of Nepal, Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal, Federation of Nepal Cottage and Small Industries and Nepal Wool Felt Producer’s and Exporter’s Association.

Nephand felt has been producing wide varieties of felt products ranging from Christmas decorations, bags, mats, cat caves, dryer balls to various accessories.

This company has had some achievements including winning Mohammed Islam Design Award for Nativity set (W.F.T.O.) (2017), has been voted first yearly (2016-2019) Craft competition held by WEAN multipurpose cooperative and won Xmas Design Contest (Nativity set) (2019). The company was also awarded the 2nd prize in FHAN craft competition in 2016.
