Champak Paun Udhyog, established in 2069 B.S., is a woman-led paun business primarily set up to utilize the locally available Lapsi (Nepali Hog Plum), a typical fruit of Nepal and to provide employment to local women of the Changu Narayan area.
Since its establishment, we are focused on supplying healthier, hygienic and tastier paun to the market. We believe our products are of good quality and are striving to make them better every day so that our main motive of exporting our paun varieties to the international market can be achieved. Running in 8th year, we have in total 10 different varieties of Lapsi paun and 1 variety of Amala and are working on increasing other paun varieties.
We have been able to extend our market inside Kathmandu valley and in some places outside the valley like Butwal, Chitwan, Hetauda, etc. In past one year, we have been able to set our foot successfully in online platforms like daraz and thulo.com as well. It’s a matter of honour for us that many Nepalese are taking our paun as a souvenir while going abroad in recent days.
