Pulp of sour fruit called Lapsi (Choerospondias axillaris – Nepali Hog Plum) cultivated in rural Nepal. The whole fruit is boiled to extract the pulp and mixed with sugar, salt, red chilies and asafetida. Sundried to form into candies.
